What kind of leather do you use?
Our products are made from full-grain leather — the highest quality tier, where the natural surface of the hide is preserved, giving each piece its texture, character, and durability. Most of our leather is sourced from tanneries in Tuscany, Italy - — the same region that has supplied European luxury houses for centuries. Some pieces use carefully selected full-grain leather from Indian tanneries that meet the same exacting standards of finish and grain quality. We choose by the leather, not the postcode. Every hide is assessed for its natural grain, edge burnishing potential, and long-term wear — and anything that does not meet that standard does not make it into a wallet. What you carry is full-grain, through and through.
How is the wallet constructed - is it handmade?
Each wallet goes through a combination of hand-finishing and precision manufacturing. The edges are hand-burnished, the stitching is done with waxed linen thread for longevity, and every piece is inspected individually before packaging. This is not mass production. It is considered making
Will the leather change over time?
Yes — and that is by design. Full-grain Italian leather develops a patina, deepening in tone and character with regular use. A wallet that looks different after two years is working as intended. Many of our customers tell us theirs becomes a favourite possession precisely because it feels earned.
